About the Instructor

Martin Perhiniak is a Certified Adobe Design Master and Instructor, an incredibly talented teacher, and one of the most popular authors on Psdtuts+. He has worked as a designer with companies such as Disney, Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, Sony Pictures, Mattel, and DC Comics. He is running a series of workshops in London as well as providing a range of services from live online training to consultancy.

Workshop Schedule

  1. Thursday 28th March - Your First Design in InDesign

    This workshop will cover tri fold brochure design, setting up a document, the page tool, working on layers, placing images, adding placeholder text, and exporting PDFs with trim marks.

  2. Thursday 4th April - Working with Type

    This workshop will cover basic text editing, text frame options, drop caps, wrapping text around images, text threading, story editor, and anchoring images to text.

  3. Thursday 11th April - Working with Images

    This workshop will cover using Bridge, the links panel and resolution, custom frames and rounded corners, frame fitting options, gap tool, and using PSD files.

  4. Thursday 18th April - Styles, Masters and Other Timesavers

    This workshop will cover character, paragraph and object styles, master pages, saving a package, quick apply, and interactive features.

  5. Thursday 25th April - Magazine Design

    This workshop will cover putting it all into practice by designing the cover and a couple of spreads.
