Martin is an internationally renowned presenter, trainer, and designer. Millions of viewers follow his online tutorials worldwide, but now you have the chance to join his online course and learn his professional photography workflow and editing techniques first hand.

In this Tuts+ Live Workshop, you're going to learn everything that you need to know about using Photoshop and Lightroom as a professional photographer; from working with Camera RAW files, all the way through to retouching landscapes, objects, portraits, and people.

Each weekly workshop will last one hour, running over a six week period. You'll have the opportunity to follow along with Martin, ask questions live during the workshop, and complete a weekly practice assignment. Additionally, we'll have downloadable resources from each workshop available for you to review.

Not able to make it to the live recording? No problem! All of the workshop recordings will be made available online the day after the live workshop.

About the Instructor

Martin Perhiniak is a Certified Adobe Design Master and Instructor, an incredibly talented teacher, and one of the most popular authors on Psdtuts+. He has worked as a designer with companies such as Disney, Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, Sony Pictures, Mattel, and DC Comics. He is running a series of workshops in London as well as providing a range of services from live online training to consultancy.

Workshop Schedule

The weekly workshops will be taking place at 12pm EDT (US), on the following days:

  1. Tuesday 16th July - Building and Managing Your Lightroom Catalog

    This workshop will cover an introduction to Lightroom, why and how to use a Catalog, importing photos and videos, the Library Module, organising your Catalog, and working with metadata.

  2. Tuesday 23rd July - Developing Photos with Lightroom

    This workshop will cover the advantages of the Camera RAW format, developing Module basics, white balance, tonal adjustments, working with colors, adjustment tools, and additional corrections and effects.

  3. Tuesday 30th July - Lightroom and Photoshop Workflows

    This workshop will cover an introduction to Photoshop, the panorama workflow, the HDR workflow, and multiple exposure masking.

  4. Tuesday 6th August - Retouching Landscapes and Objects

    This workshop will cover enhancing the sky, changing colors, removing backgrounds, cleaning up unwanted details, sharpening techniques, and the miniature effect.

  5. Tuesday 13th August - Retouching Portraits and People

    This workshop will cover sharpening eyes, adding depth with the blur library, cleaning up studio photos, changing pose with puppet warp, photo in photo effect, portrait retouching techniques, combining photos, and using the liquify filter.

  6. Tuesday 20th August - Impress Your Clients

    This workshop will cover how to find and collect inspiration, creating a photo album, creating a photo gallery site, adding text and effects to photos, and selling your photos online.
